More than 7000 metres beneath the ocean’s surface in a trench off the western coastline of South America, a dazzling blue fish swims in countless darkness.
The species has now been explained by scientists for the initial time, and its discovery might generate clues on how fish living in the deepest part of the planet have progressed a life style to in shape their extraordinary ecosystem.
